Throw a Coin Updates

This page tracks verified Throw a Coin changes from the official Roblox experience, developer announcements, and community-confirmed gameplay. Throw a Coin remains a focused luck simulator at its core — toss coins into the magic fountain, sell loot, upgrade Luck Multiplier and Value Multiplier, and chase the advertised one-in-twenty-quadrillion rare drop. Update 3 expanded that loop with item mutations, a Mutation Machine merge device, World portal progression, and the first official code redemption section.

Update 3 — Mutation Machine (July 18, 2026)

Update 3 introduced the Mutation Machine, a blue-and-gray futuristic device located near the Worlds portal on the map edge. Players submit two to four copies of the same item, pay a merge fee, wait for a timer, and receive a single mutated variant worth significantly more than the originals combined.

Mutations now define a second progression axis beside luck and value upgrades. Five mutation tiers are reported across community guides: Big, Huge, Rainbow, Astral, and Divine. Codes system live (July 2026)

The Shop menu now includes a codes section at the bottom where players redeem promo strings. Three codes work as of August 1, 2026: WORLD3 (5× Luck for 10 minutes), candy (5× Luck for 5 minutes), and Luckyducky (1 Divine Rubber Duck). Redemption path: Shop button → scroll to codes → type code → Claim.

World 3 and luck sources (July 2026)

The World portal at the map edge lets players jump to higher Worlds, each multiplying luck by five according to community testing. WORLD3 code ties to this expansion. Additional luck sources confirmed in July 2026 guides include the Item Index on the left HUD — collecting Basic, Big, and Huge item sizes grants threshold luck bonuses — and Admin Abuse events that spike server-wide luck temporarily.

August 2026 status snapshot

Player counts peaked around 18,600 concurrent users during Update 3 launch week per community tracking. The experience maintains a high Roblox rating with zero game passes sold — unusual for a simulator this size. Core fountain loop unchanged; mutations, Worlds, Item Index, and codes layer on top.
