Throw a Coin Item Index Guide
Throw a Coin Item Index guide — left HUD tracker, Basic Big Huge sizes, luck bonus thresholds, progress bar, and mutation synergy.
Play on RobloxThe Item Index is a collection tracker on the left HUD that grants permanent luck bonuses when you register item size variants. Update 3 made the index a core progression system alongside Worlds and the Mutation Machine. This guide explains Basic, Big, and Huge tracking, threshold rewards, and when to hold items instead of selling.
Unlike timed code buffs, Item Index luck bonuses persist once earned. Filling index entries is a long-term investment that compounds with every future fountain throw.
How the Item Index displays progress
Open the Item Index panel on the left side of the screen to see every item name and three size slots: Basic, Big, and Huge. Each slot fills when you obtain that size variant — either from natural fountain rolls or from Mutation Machine merges. A progress bar shows how close you are to the next luck threshold reward.
The index tracks item identity, not mutation tier. A Big Rubber Duck counts toward the Big slot whether it is standard or Rainbow. Mutations still matter for sell value and merge strategy — see our Mutations guide.
Basic, Big, and Huge size variants
Basic is the default size most early throws produce. Big and Huge appear less often from the fountain and may also result from mutation merges. Community guides report that Huge variants are the slowest to collect and often gate the largest index luck jumps.
When farming a specific item for the index, stay in a World tier where you can afford repeated throws without bankrupting upgrades. Use luck codes during focused index sessions to improve size roll odds.
Luck bonus thresholds
Crossing index milestones on the progress bar grants permanent luck bonuses to your account. Exact threshold numbers may shift with balance patches — always confirm the reward popup in-game after filling a row or hitting a bar segment.
Prioritize items you already farm frequently. Filling index rows for commons you throw hourly completes faster than chasing a single Huge epic you rarely roll. Our Item List page names every item by rarity tier so you can plan which rows to target.
Hold near-threshold sizes before selling
If you are one size variant away from completing an item row or hitting the next bar threshold, hold that item in inventory instead of using Sell All at the vendor. One more throw or merge can unlock a permanent luck bonus worth more than the immediate sell price of a near-complete entry.
This does not mean hoard everything — sell commons you are not actively indexing. Use selective sells or avoid Sell All when the progress bar shows you are close to a milestone.
Synergy with mutations and Worlds
Mutation Machine merges can produce Big or Huge variants you still need for the index. Before merging four copies into a Divine sell spike, check whether keeping a Huge slot open completes a threshold first.
World ×5 luck multipliers improve the rate you roll size variants. Pair World portal farming with index goals and redeem WORLD3 or candy during the same session. Admin Abuse events are ideal for filling multiple index rows in one sitting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Item Index?
Left HUD panel — open it to see Basic, Big, and Huge slots per item.
Do index bonuses expire?
No. Threshold luck rewards are permanent once earned.
Should I sell Huge items?
Not if completing that Huge slot unlocks your next threshold — check the progress bar first.
Do mutations count toward the index?
Yes for size slots. Mutation tier affects sell value separately.
What is the fastest way to fill the index?
Farm commons in high Worlds with luck codes, and merge duplicates at the Mutation Machine for missing sizes.
